Alaskans for Language Acquisition (AFLA) is a statewide professional association of world language educators. We are committed to offering and improving opportunities for learning world languages in Alaska through the continued support and promotion of the world languages teaching profession. AFLA represents Alaskan educators through the Pacific Northwest Council for Languages (PNCFL), and ACTFL, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
